i always look up the daily specials and on my computer at work the pages were so dark i could hardly find the button to click on. this page is nice and bright and cheerful, just like everyone working at the wood. miss you guys!

Hi there,
Did you drop the Braised Beef from your dinner appetizer menu? I split it with Nona when we were there for dinner before the two snowstorms and it was soooo good!

Also, how big are your pizzas? I'd like to try one next time I come for lunch with a friend.

The food was nice, but I was appalled by the service. Out waiter did not really attend to us and at the end of the night he walked outside and questioned the tip we left him. It ruined our experience of the night and I am not longer recommending or going here. The food is not worth the rude service.

I had dinner Dogwood Cafe...
The service was OK but the food was GREAT!
At the end of my meal, the waitress threw my bill at me (literally)...so I decided NOT to leave her a tip...My friend and I left, not really thinking we did anything "wrong" (since a tip is a "gratuity" not an OBLIGATION)...the waitress chased us to our car...asking why we didn't leave her a tip...cursing us and carrying on about a tip...I felt threatened and guilted into a hostile encounter...I save my hard earned dollars to go out, and DON'T EXPECT TO GET CHASED for a tip...I payed my bill. I don't expect to be threatened for going out to eat!!!
